Robert Half is currently recruiting for an experienced and 'hands on' Bookkeeper to join a renowned organisation in Melbourne's events and hospitality sector on a temporary to permanent basis.
This is a perfect opportunity for a young parent who is looking to add genuine value to an excellent organisation on a 30 hour per week basis offering flexible working hours.
This role is based in the CBD's inner Eastern suburbs and requires an immediate start.
Reporting to and working closely with the Finance Manager, your duties will include:
* All round Bookkeeping duties
* Full function Payroll for up to 150 employees
* Bank Reconciliations
* Accounts Payable & Receivable
* Following up on overdue accounts
* Debtor reporting
* Annual accounts, Asset Register Maintenance, GST, BAS
* Ad-hoc duties as requested & Liaision with General Manager & Owner
To be successful, you will be an experienced Bookkeeper with a hands-on approach who is able to hit the ground running and add value quickly. Strong communication / Interpersonal skills coupled with MYOB system experience and Intermediate Excel is essential.
Previous experience in the catering or hospitality industry will be highly regarded.
