Recognised as a growing retail organisation on the Australian market, our client are on the lookout for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their business on a part time basis. Their open plan office is conveniently located near public transport with a variety of premier shops, bars and restaurants nearby.
Currently they have a need for an experienced Payroll Officer who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast paced, creative atmosphere.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the responsibilities of the Standalone Payroll Officer will include:
- Processing full function payroll for 250 employees
- Maintaining a payroll log and register for Year-end processing
- Ensuring superannuation payments occur on time
- Retail EBA interpretation
- Processing payroll tax
- Ad hoc tasks in line with the Finance team
You will be an enthusiastic and self-motivated candidate who can working independently. You will have excellent oral and written communication skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You must have prior experience processing payroll in a standalone position and experience in the retail sector would be highly desirable.
While not mandatory, experience using Attache would be advantageous.
