Robert Half is currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Payroll Officer to work within a really friendly team based in the CBD. This role will suit a Candidate who has had previous experience in a high volume, fast paced environment.
This is a 3 month temporary role starting immediately and has the potential to extend.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager your duties will include:
- Processing a large weekly and monthly payroll
- Time-sheet processing
- Interpretation and understanding of complex awards and EBAs
- Exception handling
- Payroll reconciliations
- Dealing with queries for internal and external customers
- Employment contract renewals
- Visa applications
To be successful you will be a Payroll Officer with a minimum of 5 years' experience processing payroll. You will need to be computer literate with previous exposure to payroll packages such as Chris21, Payglobal, Neller Preceda etc
You will need to have excellent communication skills, a customer service approach and an ability to take ownership of a role in a busy deadline environment.
