Our client is a leading organisation within the Health Industry and is currently looking for a hardworking and proven Payroll Officer to join their team. Based in a great Inner Suburbs location, the role offers a competitive salary and opportunity for growth within the company.
Reporting to the Payroll manager, the main duties and responsibilities will include:
- End to end Payroll (high volume)
- Complete month end and year end processes including superannuation and payroll tax obligations
- Investigating and resolving payroll queries
- Processing payroll tax and PAYG payments
- Processing timesheets
- Calculating annual leave
- New starters and terminations
We are looking for someone with an excellent understanding of the full payroll cycle and experience with medium to large Payroll systems. You will be able to handle high volumes, multiple responsibilities and will complete all tasks with accuracy. You will be expected to interact with both internal and external customers, so strong communication and rapport building skills are essential.
