Our client is a diversified, post-secondary education company who work closely with international students achieve their academic and career goals. Their offices are conveniently based in Melbourne's CBD, they are looking for a part-time payroll officer to join their friendly team reporting directly into the Finance Manager. The part time Payroll Officer will be required to work 3 days per fortnight.
Reporting into the Finance Manager, the responsibilities of the Payroll Officer will include:
* Full function fortnightly payroll for approximately 140 employees using MYOB
* Processing new starters and terminations
* Processing superannuation and payroll tax
* Responding to payroll related queries in an efficient and timely manner
* Ad hoc payroll and admin tasks
You will be an enthusiastic and self-motivated candidate who can working independently. You will have excellent oral and written communication skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will have previous full function payroll processing experience and be able to hit the ground running. You must have intermediate-advanced Excel skills and previous experience using MYOB would be preferable.
