Our client is a market leading logistics company based in Port Melbourne who are experiencing substantial growth within the next year. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the main responsibilities of the Finance/Payroll Officer will include:
- Fortnightly and monthly full function payroll
- Accounts Receivable & Payable
- Bank reconciliation
- Month end reporting
- Consolidating balance sheets
- General Administrative tasks
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a similar bookkeeping role and have strong full function payroll experience. You will be able to handle multiple responsibilities and will complete all tasks efficiently and with accuracy. You will be expected to interact with both internal and external customers, so strong communication and rapport building skills are essential. Exposure to Micropay Meridian would be advantageous but not essential. An interest or experience with logistics would also be beneficial for this role.
