An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a growing not-for-profit organisation based in Melbourne's inner suburbs. The Bookkeeper position joins a small and friendly Finance team and requires someone to hit the ground running and quickly add value reporting directly into the CFO.
Reporting into the CFO, the main duties of the Bookkeeper include:
- End to end Accounts Payable and Receivable duties
- Weekly payroll processing
- Reconciliation of al bank accounts and corporate credit cards
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory lodgements (BAS, PAYG, FBT)
- General office administrative duties
- Contribute towards process improvement
- General ad hoc duties as required
To be considered for this role you must have at least two years' experience in a similar Bookkeeper position for a small business and must be motivated to work autonomously and part of a small team. You will be down to earth with a friendly demeanour and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be confident using Microsoft Office including Excel. Please note, previous experience using XERO would be advantageous for this position.
