We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with standalone experience for a growing and highly successful Building/Construction company based in the Eastern suburbs. The role will be an autonomous part time position initially 2 days p/w progressing to 4-5 days p/w with flexible hours, perfect for the school run! The position will become permanent for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
- High Volume Invoice Processing, matching Purchase Orders
- Supplier/Creditor reconciliations, petty cash reconciliations
- Balance sheet/GL Recs
- Full function AP/AR
- Processing payments
- Monthly accrual adjustments
- Attending to queries
- Payroll full function
- Bank Recs
- Month end reporting
- Ad Hoc administration duties
- Excellent communication skills is essential
You will be passionate and experienced Bookkeeper with MYOB and Xero software experience and have a passion in providing outstanding customer service and have worked successfully in autonomous roles in the past.
Experience in working within the building industry is ideal but not essential. Ideally you will have worked in a multi-entity environment and managed complex reconciliations.
You will also be flexible in your outlook, have a willingness to ensure the companies processes and procedures are best suited to the business. Maintaining excellent attention to detail, you will have a proven ability to meet deadlines and have strong financial acumen.
