This is a well-established not-for-profit organisation and leader in its field. The business offers disability support services to thousands of people in Victoria. This organisation has aspired to remain innovative and relevant in a rapidly changing market and has a highly capable and forward-thinking executive team with a breadth of not for profit and commercial experience.


The business is about to significantly increase its scale of services. This will involve a major business transformation with a focus on workforce transition, systems and process implementation, service delivery reorientation and cultural alignment. The changes will occur over the next 12 months. The next few years will focus on delivering a high-quality customer experience while leveraging the increased economies of scale to deliver the organisation's mission in a sustainable manner.



The Role



This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced and highly professional candidate to utilise their stakeholder management skills. Reporting into the Company Secretary your key duties and responsibilities will be assisting the Company Secretary in providing a wide range of tasks including;


* Organisation and coordination of Board and Committee meetings, including preparation of agendas, and taking and timely completion of minutes for circulation.
* Arrange logistics of meetings and events, including reservation of meeting rooms, catering, technology etc.
* Preparation of Board and Committee papers as required, including distribution.
* Collating and reviewing Executive's Board reports as required.
* Maintenance of Registers, for e.g. Directors Register, Resolutions Register, Attendance Registers.
* Management of all portals (Dropbox, Shared Drives) and Company Secretary office administration and filing.
* Support induction of new Board and Board Committee Members including preparation of appointment materials.
* Other administrative and operational support for the Group Company Secretary as required.



This is Part Time Permanent position equivalent to 3 days a week, which can be spread across the days as desirable



About You



This is a crucial position for the organisation and the success of the person in this role is pivotal to ensuring the organisation meets their governance obligations. Competencies necessary to succeeding in the role include high EQ, good coordination and prioritisation skills and the ability to build rapport with executives, operational staff and customers.



You will have:
* Previous experience in corporate governance and as either a Company Secretary or Assistant Company Secretary.
* Relevant experience in operations support role or office management for busy organisation.
* Expert user of a range of systems include Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat
* Demonstrates excellent stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to build and effectively manage relationships to deliver outcomes..
* Ability to effectively communicate with people with communication difficulties.
* High level of verbal and numeric reasoning.
* An ability to communicate effectively and positively with others.



You must have Unlimited Working Rights in Australia, pass a Police Check and hold a current Working with Children's Check or be willing to obtain this.
