Australian and New Zealand companies are well above the global average when it comes to increasing finance and accounting salaries and bonuses in 2014 according to recent research by Robert Half.
Over half of Australian CFOs (55%) and New Zealand CFOs (60%) said they plan to raise salaries for their finance and accounting teams this year. This response is well above the global average of 44%.
David Jones, Senior Managing Director, Asia Pacific at Robert Half says, “an increase in salaries confirms a sense of optimism in countries where the economic future looks bright.”
Among Australian CFOs, 37% plan to increase bonuses for their finance and accounting staff in 2014 – well above the international average of 28%. New Zealand CFOs were also above the global average with 31% planning to increase bonuses. See the full infographic below.
