Community support & CSR

At Robert Half, we are committed to community service. We believe that with great success comes great responsibility, and being an ethical corporate citizen is one of the ways we can provide community support in our local areas.

We recognise the importance of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and engaging with state and national causes to encourage a culture of community support. As part of this, Robert Half are patrons to a variety of CSR and community service programmes which provide employees an opportunity to lend a hand.

Each of our offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Mt Waverley and Perth regularly participate in fundraising activities to support the local community. Recent examples of this include:

Employer Advice on Attracting Staff

Jobs for Youth

Our Melbourne office participated in the 'Jobs for Youth' charity event where they partook in mock interviews with students who have never interviewed for jobs before. The team's purpose was to enhance the students' confidence with real-world advice and positive mentoring towards their first steps into today's career market.

Humpty Dumpty Foundation and Children's Hospital

Blair Shapland from our Brisbane RHT team completed his first six week fitness challenge, where he raised $320 for the Humpty Dumpty Foundation and Children's Hospital.

Heartkids

Our Melbourne office hosted a successful charity quiz in September for 220 clients at Crown Casino in aid of Heartkids. Robert Half raised almost $9000 from ticket sales, a raffle and donations.

Rosherville Reserve Charity/Volunteer Day

The Sydney Technology Permanent team embraced their charity/volunteer day by heading to Rosherville Reserve in Mosman to give back to Australia's local ecosystem.

The day was spent picking up litter. All in all, the team successfully planted over 650 new plants and shrubs.

Cancer Council

Brisbane Recruiting Manager Anna Skoin competed in The Gold Coast Marathon. Not only did she manage to complete it in 4 hours 30 minutes but she also raised an amazing $2500 for the Cancer Council. 

Staff retention

Rosherville Reserve Charity/Volunteer Day

Our Sydney Technology Temporary team participated in a volunteering day. Collectively they planted 300 plants through Rosherville Reserve in Mosman, regenerating the bushland and sand dunes.
