At Robert Half, we are committed to community service. We believe that with great success comes great responsibility, and being an ethical corporate citizen is one of the ways we can provide community support in our local areas.
We recognise the importance of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and engaging with state and national causes to encourage a culture of community support. As part of this, Robert Half are patrons to a variety of CSR and community service programmes which provide employees an opportunity to lend a hand.
In September 2015, the Robert Half Melbourne team hosted our inaugural Trivia Night at the Ormond Hall to support BeyondBlue. Over 160 people attended the night and our team was able to raise over $4000 to support Australian’s living with depression and anxiety.
In August 2015, the Robert Half team in Perth held a morning tea bake-off to raise money for the RSPCA. The Cupcake Day for the RSPCA is held annually to generate awareness and raise money to help fight animal cruelty.
For our regular Robert Half team building and corporate training events, we choose to partner with Corporate Challenges, a specialist team building events business who are committed to helping the community. Their events are based on donating time and skills directly to community organisations, with the outputs from team events going to charity. For example, in June 2015, our management team attended an event where they built bicycles from scratch – these bicycles were then donated to a local children’s charity.
We regularly post photos and updates around our charity events on our Facebook page. Like our page to stay abreast of the latest Robert Half community support initiatives.
